Arkansas Mugshot Access Limits
The research did not locate an Arkansas statute that specifically says every mugshot must remain online for a set period. The safer legal frame is public-record access. Arkansas FOIA generally opens public records to inspection and copying unless an exemption applies, and the county government sheriff page expressly states that warrants are public records under FOIA. Booking photos should be treated as law-enforcement or jail records subject to public-record analysis, not as guaranteed always-online content.
What is not public by default: Juvenile records, sealed records, expunged matters, medical or mental-health information, and protected data may be withheld or redacted.
Arkansas's record-sealing law can affect public access to qualifying arrest and court records after a court order. The sheriff's website did not publish a self-service mugshot removal form in the captured text.

When Jefferson County Mugshots Disappear
The sheriff roster has a Released option, but the official text did not state how long released people or their photos remain listed. State and Federal Mugshot Differences
State DOC, BOP, and ICE searches do not work like Jefferson County's roster.
